Eddie Ocampo of Self-Help Enterprises Elected as Chair of Water Blueprint for the San Joaquin Valley

[San Joaquin Valley, California – March 4, 2024] – The Water Blueprint for the San Joaquin Valley is pleased to announce the election of Eddie Ocampo, Director of Community Sustainability at Self-Help Enterprises, as its new Chair. Ocampo brings a wealth of experience and expertise in water management and community development to his new role, and the board is confident in his ability to lead the organization forward.

Ocampo expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating, “I am honored to serve as the president of the Water Blueprint for the San Joaquin Valley. I look forward to working with stakeholders across the region to advance our shared goals of sustainable water management and equitable access to resources.”

In addition to Ocampo’s election, the Water Blueprint for the San Joaquin Valley welcomes two new directors to its board:

Daniel Hartwig, representing the California Fresh Fruit Association. Hartwig brings extensive knowledge of agricultural water use and conservation practices to the board, as well as a commitment to promoting the interests of fruit growers in the region.
